It’s that time of year again: It’s spring in Southern Florida and Marco Island! And you know what that means – SPRING BREAK!

One of our favorite places to go, and favorite things to do, is kayak around Marco Island! The first stop on our list of places to go, well of course, is Isle of Capri Paddle craft Park. The entrance to the park is located off of Capri Blvd (CR-952) just west of Collier Blvd by about 100 yards. Then, on the right, you’ll see a small green sign that says Isle of Capri Paddle craft Park!

And of course, you don’t have to worry about transporting your kayaks–Marco Island Kayak Rentals take care of that part for you! It’s as simple as you book, we deliver, you paddle, we return for a hassle and worry-free kayak experience!

Our favorite part of kayaking on Marco Island is the mangrove tunnels! The Mangrove is a tree unique to southern Florida. They grow low and large, with winding branches that span entire riverbanks. These large branches form “tunnels,” which single or double kayaks can fit perfectly under. This mangrove tunnel experience makes for a really fun kayak exploration adventure! It’s magical to cruise under the mangroves with your vacation friends, and guaranteed like nothing you’ve ever seen before.

If you and your spring break gang are hoping for more of an open-water kayak adventure, you can opt for single or double kayaks delivered to Caxambas Boat Ramp! In the warmer months, you’ll come across manatees on the open water, and see lots of fish just below the surface. You and your friends can buddy up and enjoy the sights in double kayaks, without having to worry about the logistics of getting the kayaks to and from Caxambas Boat Ramp.

On the open water, you’ll be free to explore Florida’s Thousand Islands. You can find your own private island, bring a picnic, and spend a day of adventure in the sun. On the sands of the Thousand Islands, you might even be lucky enough to go shelling! The unique aquatic life and beautiful sea creatures will have you wanting to come back every day of your vacation!

Spring break is the perfect time of year to visit Marco Island Kayak Rentals, and even more perfect to go kayaking! Before you head out to relax on the beach, have a little adventure at the mangrove tunnels or the open water! We can promise that you won’t be disappointed!
