We definitely think that the best beach on Marco Island is Tigertail Beach! This newer beach, on the far end of the island is in a well-maintained part of the island. You can find a park, snack bar, and flower-lined patio shaded by beach umbrellas. For just $8/day, park your golf cart here, and your whole crew can hit the beach! There’s something for everyone. The park faces a lagoon, where the water gets deeper and the ground is squishy with seaweed, but pass the lagoon and you’ll find a stunning vista of blinding white sand and blue-green water. If you’re not up for the lagoon-walk, there is always the option to walk around the lagoon, of course. When you’re on the other side of the lagoon, though, this beach is the best for shelling, bird watching, and sometimes, if you’re lucky, spotting Manatees!

riding crowd! Our favorite restaurant on the island is Cafe de Marco on the northernmost
part of the island. The seasonal menus feature dishes like Filet Mignon, Rack of Lamb,
Artichoke Cassoulet, Sesame Encrusted Pacific Ahi Tuna, and Maryland Blue Lump
Crab Cakes. If you ask us, the Crab Cakes are to die for! You can have yourself a
beautiful hand-crafted cocktail and top-shelf spirits. Then, your drive home is made
ever-so convenient by Marco Island’s Golf Cart-legal streets.
